JOB TITLE: Development / Support Outreach Worker
REPORTING TO: Manager of Family Resource Centre
LOCATION: Dublin 8; Canal Communities and surrounding areas

EMPLOYED BY: Family Resource Centre St. Michael?s Estate Management
SALARY: Based on Funding
EXPERIENCE: Community Development & Violence Against Women Experience
preferred. IT knowledge essential.
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To work with the existing team in continuing to develop a
comprehensive outreach service which improves outcomes for women and
children. To develop and maintain linkages with other service
providers in order to raise awareness of gender based violence and the
services provided by Inchicore Outreach. To support women who have
been subjected to violence in the Canal Communities and surrounding
areas by providing practical and emotional support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
There are three main parts to the job overall. Parts 1 and 2 will form
the main area of work in the initial stages.
* DEVELOPMENT OF THE SERVICE/ TO PROFILE AND PROMOTE THE SERVICE
* ADMINISTRATION AND STATISTICAL DATA
* INDIVIDUAL OUTREACH SUPPORT WORK WITH WOMEN
